Oilfield Joke: An Oilman in Spain...

A successful Oilman stopped at a local restaurant following a day roaming around in Spain with his wife ......

While sipping his wine, he noticed a sizzling, scrumptious looking platter being served at the next table.

Not only did it look good, the smell was wonderful.

He asked the waiter, 'What is that you just served?'

The waiter replied, 'Si senor, you have excellent taste!

Those are called Cojones de Toro, bull's testicles
from the bull fight this morning. A local delicacy!'

The Oilman said, 'What the heck, bring me an order.'

The waiter replied, 'I am so sorry senor. There is only one serving per day because there is only one bull fight each morning. If you come early and place your order, we will be sure to save you this delicacy.'

The next morning, the oilman returned, placed his order, and that evening was served the one and only special delicacy of the day.

After a few bites, inspecting his platter, he called to the waiter and said, 'Hey, These are delicious, but they are much, much smaller than the ones I saw you serve yesterday.'

The waiter shrugged his shoulders and replied, 'Si, Senor. Sometimes the bull wins.'

Oilfield Joke: Whoops, Sorry about that....

Marvin, a well known company man, was in the hospital on his death bed.

The family called Marvin’s Preacher to be with him in his final moments.

As the Preacher stood by the bed, Marvin’s condition seemed to deteriorate, and Marvin motioned for someone to quickly pass him a pen and paper.

The Preacher quickly retrieved  a pen and paper from his pocket and lovingly handed it to Marvin.

But before he had a chance to read the note, Marvin died.

The Preacher feeling that now wasn’t the right time to read it put the note in his jacket pocket.

It was at the funeral while speaking that the Preacher suddenly remembered the note.

Reaching deep into his pocket the Preacher said “and you know what, I suddenly remembered that right before Marvin died he handed me a note, and knowing Marvin I’m sure it was something inspiring that we can all gain from.

With that introduction the Preacher ripped out the note and opened it.

The note said “HEY PREACHER, YOU ARE STANDING ON MY OXYGEN TUBE!”

Oilfield Joke: Dirt Contractor gets One Wish...

A Dirt Contractor was clearing for a location when he found a bottle that had been buried in the dirt. He looked around but didn't see anyone so he opened it.

A genie appeared and thanked the man for letting him out.

The genie said, "I am so grateful to get out of that bottle that I will grant you any wish, but I can only grant one."

The man thought for a while and finally said, "I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and fish along the beautiful beaches of Hawaii. I've never been able to go because I do not like fly. Airplanes are much too frightening for me. On a boat, I see all that water and I become very claustrophobic. So I wish for a road to be built from here to Hawaii."

The genie thought for a few minutes and finally said, "No, I don't think I can do that.

Just think of all the work involved. Consider all the piling needed to hold up a highway and how deep they would have to go to reach the bottom of the ocean.

Imagine all the pavement needed. No, that really is just too much to ask."

The man thought for a few minutes and then told the genie, "There is one other thing I have always wanted.

I would like to be able to understand women. What makes them laugh and cry, why are they temperamental, why are they so difficult to get along with, when they want attention, when they don't. Basically, what makes women tick."

The genie thought for a while and said, "Okay, back to your first wish, do you want two lanes or four?"

Oilfield Joke: Drilling Contractor is a Legal Genius...

A Drilling Contractor was the defendant in a lawsuit over a deal gone bad.

The lawsuit involved large sums of money and the worried Drilling Contractor was plotting different strategies to help his case.

About a week before the trial, he called his lawyer and said, "If I lose this case, I'll be ruined!  I think I'll send the judge a case of whiskey."

His lawyer shouted, "No! The judge is a stickler on ethical behavior.

At best, a dumb stunt like that would guarantee that you lose the case.  And he might hold you in contempt of court or even have you charged with attempted bribery."

In the end, the judge decided in favor of the Drilling Contractor. Estatic over winning, he told his lawyer, "Thanks for the tip about the whiskey."

Smugly, the lawyer said, "I'm sure we would have lost if you hadn't followed my advice and gone ahead and sent it."

"I did send it," replied the Drilling Contractor... "I just enclosed the plaintiff's business card.
